Doom doom doom

October 18, 2005 By Glenn Turner

This week will have a bit of a special update, as we'll be attending an advance screening of the celluloid version of Doom. Whether you see such an opportunity as a pleasent surprise or a punishment, well in the end it all means that there'll be some scrawling here concerning it just barely prior to it opening nationwide.

Just to let you know.

The trailer for this movie has a bit too many "First Person" sequences.

"A bit too many" being any number greater than zero.

Aw. I think it's the best part!! Perhaps a bit cheesey, but when else is someone going to attempt to shot a chainsaw sequence in the first person!!

And perhaps it will be the next go to special effect, like "bullet time". We can only hope :P

PS: I'll be seeing the "advance screening" as well. Woo.
