Stupid two weeks

March 1, 2005 By Glenn Turner

Well, that was a trying period. I'm finally back online - at least for the moment. But hey, at least all this time off-line gave me some precious gaming time. Let me give you a brief rundown:

Minish Cap - Apparently I'm the only person in the world to have had an insufferably difficult time with the final boss. If I ignore the monotony of the final third of the game (and said boss), then I had a fun time.

Link to the Past and Majora's Mask - Minish Cap provoked these Zelda reminiscing. Well, not so much reminiscing as 'Gee, I should really play these games.' Majora's Mask has been especially interesting - I love the concept, and that moon is just creepy.

OutRun2 - It's fun, but I think I may be getting 'battered woman syndrome' by playing it. Also, challenge mode reminds me greatly of Crazy Taxi's Crazy Box.

Tekken 5 - While I've never been a big Tekken fan, some friends are. Said friends threw a little Tekken 5 release party and I have to say that I was quite impressed and we all left the party with some sore thumbs. And it looks a darn sight better than it deserves to.

Also, this weekend was one heck of an upset over at HSX. Diary of a Mad Black Woman was severely underestimated, to the tune of about, oh say, H$50 while Cursed was overvalued by about H$25. Big money!

Now. About the site updates. I have approximately a hojillion articles that I've been fine tuning over the past two weeks. You can expect to see maybe half of them soon. But they will trickle out, slowly, like a potentially dangerous gas leak. And then KABOOM* and I will be at GAME ON.

Oh I can't wait for that.
