Formed in 2003, The New Gamer was established to provide a different critical perspective on videogames. We scrutinize the whole game, what it has to say, how the separate elements effect the player, and what each game brings to the burgeoning field of interactive entertainment. I think I heard a rumor that they cut a butt load of footage from the film. Something like a 3 and half hour movie. Keeping in mind this is complete hearsay with no source or research done. But if true, that'd make one hell of a director's cut.
