Formed in 2003, The New Gamer was established to provide a different critical perspective on videogames. We scrutinize the whole game, what it has to say, how the separate elements effect the player, and what each game brings to the burgeoning field of interactive entertainment. Simply put, we like to write about games.

Maybe I just don't understand the message behind a writer for this site telling us to pirate a game for him so he can do a project, but not being willing to tell us where to find a pirated copy because "pirating is wrong." And then having every other writer go out and pirate the game themselves so that they can contribute (correct me if I'm wrong).
It's just silly. But as I said, I just wish I had submitted myself because it looks like it was a fun thing to be a part of. I knew it wouldn't be difficult to pirate. But for some reason I am often too lazy to want to perform a 5-10 minute google search (whereas I am often fine just staring at the screen for an hour without accomplishing anything).
