Formed in 2003, The New Gamer was established to provide a different critical perspective on videogames. We scrutinize the whole game, what it has to say, how the separate elements effect the player, and what each game brings to the burgeoning field of interactive entertainment. Simply put, we like to write about games.

I must say that I am quite pleased and really impressed with the final result. Not only does it present us with a variety of techniques for a mostly uniform level (the information about the boss was indeed quite surprising), but it also takes the discussion of the form of popular gaming to a level which can be dissected and discussed more easily than before.
Kudos to a job well done.
