The Wachowskis have already delved into the gaming world, though I'm not up to date on how that all turned out. I, like you, would want to have a director who really understands games to be the one to delve into the medium. However, I don't know which directors are gamers.

Regardless, after watching Lady in the Water last night, I think M. Night could create something fantastic under the right circumstances. I was temped to say Kubrick, but I would sooner utilize him for cinematography.

As the video game market continues to expand, I'm sure brilliant minds will be drawn in to create some magnificent games.
